Kenny Chesney recently appeared on Oprah to launch his new concert movie "Kenny Chesney Summer in 3D" which will hit theatres everywhere. Kenny sat with Oprah, took a few requests with his road worn signature model Tak KC70 and gave some insights on his life both personal and professional.
Chesney is the most popular live music act of the 21st century, having sold over one million tickets in each of the past 8 summers and selling out stadiums in Boston, Seattle, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, and San Francisco. The 4-time and reigning Country Music Association and 4-consecutive Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year has sold over 35 million records and notched 19 #1 hits. His new album GREATEST HITS II, which debuted at #1 has already yielded his most recent #1 hit "Out Last Night" and "I’m Alive," a duet with Dave Matthews, which is currently residing in Country’s Top Ten.
Even though Kenny has decided to give it a rest and cut this Summer's touring down to just a few previous obligations, somehow he still manages to get that Takamine logo in front of the cameras and in front of millions. We are lucky to have him as our friend and associate. Thanks Kenny.
