One of the perks Crystal Bowersox enjoyed during her season-long tenure on American Idol was being able to hold her own auditions…for acoustic guitars. She began the season playing her Martin, gave Gibson a shot, then flirted with another brand or two before landing on a very well worn Takamine TF450SMSB a la Bruce Springsteen.



It was that guitar that she chose for her all-important final performances including the season’s finale (24.2 million viewers) as well as recent performances on “Ellen” and “The Today Show”. Coincidentally all of these performances required her acoustic to be prominently featured in the mix.
