Toby Keith Reloads With bullets In The Gun

October 5 Album Release Preceded By Fast-Rising Single "Trailerhood"

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) One of entertainment's most accomplished hitmakers, Toby Keith keeps his musical ride rolling with the October 5 release of his 15th full-length studio album Bullets In The Gun. The collection has been advanced at radio by the lead single "Trailerhood," which is one of the fastest-rising singles on the charts, jumping five spaces this week to No. 31 just three weeks after its official release.

Arguably the longest-tenured self-contained hit machine in country music history, Toby Keith is at the pinnacle of his craft as a vocalist, songwriter, producer, musician and entertainer. From his first single and No. 1 smash "Should’ve Been A Cowboy" (1993) to his recent and very personal single "Cryin' For Me (Wayman's Song)" (2009-2010), Keith has written the vast majority of his biggest hits.

And with Bullets In The Gun, Keith again takes aim at the top of the airplay charts, CD and download sales and arenas packed with adoring fans. His American Ride Tour opened last month with a full-bore big-stage assault at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ. Sponsored by Ford Trucks, the tour will hit dozens of cities through its Sept. 25 conclusion in Boston.
