Takamine’s Natural series was conceived to give the biggest and widest acoustic sound possible. The Natural ETN60C FXC nylon fingerstyle is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. Solid cedar tops, solid sapele backs, a thin satin finish and no pick guard – anything that could possibly impede the vibration of the soundboard was purposely left out. This guitar was designed with the nylon fingerstyle players in mind and is voiced to respond well to altered tunings. The 1 7/8” nut width broadens the string spacing at the nut and at the bridge. The slotted headstock gives the guitar a classic look and increases the break angle of the strings over the nut. In keeping with the “natural” theme, various woods are used to trim and decorate each model. The rosette is an intricate design using ovangkol and rosewood. The purfling is basswood and fretboard inlays are maple. A pinless bridge makes string changing a breeze. Includes Takamine’s Palathetic™ pickup, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The CT4B preamp has long been the popular choice among Takamine pro artists, providing warm natural acoustic tone at high sound pressure levels.
