Crystal Bowersox arrived in Nashville Friday to perform at the famed Bluebird Cafe on Saturday night. Being a fan of the Grand Ole Opry she decided to buy a ticket and attend that night's performance. Little did she know that she would wind up making her debut Opry appearance.

When Crystal's presence was announced to the audience the response was so enthusiastic that host Vince Gill decided to bring her up to perform. "We do things out here for an awful lot of different reasons, but one is spontaneity, one is fun," Gill said as he introduced Crystal.

Crystal sang Mine All Mine and received a standing ovation. "I'm over the moon!" she said backstage. "I'm just completely beside myself. Tonight, Vince made one of my lifelong dreams come true.
