Dave Stewart Stands Up To Cancer
Among those who showed up to lend their support were Denzel Washington, Ryan Seacrest, Adam Sandler, Toby Maguire, Gwyneth Paltro, Kyra Sedgwick, Rob Lowe, Seth MacFarlane, Mark Harmon, Stevie Wonder, Martina McBride, Billie Joe Armstrong, Kris Kristofferson, Renee Zellweger, Seth Rogan, Elizabeth Edwards, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
Our old friend Dave Stewart not only wrote the SU2C theme song but also sponsored a contest in which any and all were invited to submit their own version and video of the song. The winning entry would then be featured on the live telecast. Dave wanted the prize to be a nice Takamine guitar and we were honored to oblige.
