So how did a trio of southern girls whose primary influence was the Carter Family morph into a red hot garage punkabilly band that Rolling Stone.com has singled out as a "Band To Watch?" Guitarist Jessi Darlin (whose primary acoustic is the EF341SC) says the harder sound of their second album "Screws Get Loose" was actually a natural progression after adding drummer Linwood Regensburg and that their country roots are still evident.
