Takamine

Among the many career achievements of our friend Glen Hansard, including multiple Grammy nominations and an Academy Award for his song 'Falling Slowly' from the movie 'Once' (that he also starred in), his most recent career milestone would be the advent of the acclaimed Broadway Musical by the same name.

By virtue of the Hansard factor, the stage of 'Once the Musical' is loaded with Takamine guitars, including a well worn EF341SC played by leading man Steve Kazee, obviously inspired by Hansard's 'Horse'. The show begins previewing tonight at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. Opening night set for Sunday, March 18, 2012.
