Rickey Minor Interviews Tonight Show Guitarist Paul Jackson Jr.

As you may already know, the silky smooth Paul Jackson Jr. is now the guitarist in "The Tonight Show" and friend Rickey Minor has taken over as bassist and musical director. Turns out these two iconic players go way back. Check out this cool clip from the NBC site of Rickey interviewing Paul.

While there is no specific reference to the Takamine TF740FS that Paul is holding (and eventually plays) it is easily recognizable as his acoustic of choice from last season's "American Idol" and continues to hold that rank on Paul's latest high profile gig with Leno.

In fact Paul, who is one of the most recorded guitarists in the business, is not the only iconic guitarist to fall for this relatively new model Takamine. This finger style, 12 fret to the body slot head is quickly gaining a reputation as the best in it's class and a star in it's own right. But more about that down the line.
