Springsteen Ad Rounds Out Takamine ‘Hardest Working Series’
If you are thinking that the words 'Springsteen' and 'ad' look a bit odd next to each other, it may be because Bruce Springsteen has never agreed to have his name associated with a product in any sort of advertisement...ever.

That was until we explained that this particular ad concept 'The Hardest Working Guitar in Show Business' would focus strictly on the unvarnished truth...that his Takamine guitars have been a part of virtually every tour he has done for the last 22 years and have served him beautifully.

It was only then that Bruce, who has famously turned down tens of millions of dollars in endorsement opportunities decided to make the one and only exception to his hard rule based solely on the authentic and longstanding relationship the guitars have had with his music. No cash. No contracts. Just guitars that deliver show after show - year after year - and a company that backs them up.

This Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band installment is the last in the first series of 4 ads that included Glenn Frey, Jon Bon Jovi and Glen Hansard. All of these great artists have played one particular Takamine for 15 years or more and agreed that their beloved instruments deserved the spotlight all by themselves.

The Hansard and Bon Jovi ad are running currently. Look for the Springsteen ad to hit the stands in early 2011.
