On Oct 16, 2007, Avril Lavigne performed an all-acoustic show at The Roxy in Hollywood, CA. A few days prior to filming, Takamine was contacted by her guitar tech in search of a great steel string. After playing a few samples, they decided that the EAN70 suited her best.
