At the age of 18, Joey moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. After attending the Bass program at Los Angeles Music Academy, he joined the band Avion, which was quickly signed to Columbia Records. After touring in support of their hit song, "Seven Days Without You" (which was re-released by artist Teddy Geiger) Joey went on to play The Calling, David Cook, Selena Gomez and the Scene and many more. As a songwriter, Joey's highly intelligent songs have been recorded by numerous artists, including 16 Frames, and have been featured on the show The Hills on MTV. Joey is currently the Bass player for Selena Gomez and the Scene and chooses to play a Takamine TF250SMCSB during Selena's acoustic set.
