John Harley Weston is an award winning singer-songwriter based in Australia. Originally from Scotland, Weston served his apprenticeship working with some of the greats, including the legendary Steeley Dan producer Gary Katz and session players like Wix (Paul McCartney) and Tony Beard (Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jeff Beck). After moving across the globe in search of new musical horizons, songs on Weston’s first 2 albums won him the Australian National Songwriting Contest and several accolades from Billboard & Unisong. His latest album 'Welcome Back To Reality’ (2008) is a welcome back to the essence of great songwriting; strong melodies, teasing hooks & coherent lyrics that inspire and uplift. It’s all wrapped in hook driven, laid back, acoustic guitar-based rock, seasoned with the very best of folk.
