Walter Schreifels is a New York based musician, songwriter and producer. He was a founding member and principle songwriter for bands such as Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand and Rival Schools (actively). He has also written and performed with bands such as Warzone, Youth Of Today and CIV to name a few.

As a producer he has worked with Hot Water Music, CIV, Rebecca Schiffman and most recently Title Fight among others. In 2010 he released his first full-length solo album titled An Open Letter To The Scene to the unbridled joy of fans and critics alike. Since then, he has been performing and touring as an acoustic solo act as well as performing and writing with his many other projects.
