DSF48C
The DSF48C Santa Fe NEX is handcrafted in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. The solid spruce top is matched with a solid rosewood back for excellent projection, power and broad dynamic range.
The theme is southwest Native American, with a black crow rosette, eagle fingerboard inlays, gloss natural finish and gold with amber pearl key tuners. Features a fully bound body and fretboard. The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a traditional, ultra strong dovetail joint.
Built with the performer in mind, it features Takamine’s proprietary CT4-DX™ preamp system paired with duo of the unique Palathetic® under-saddle pickup and Takamine original soundboard transducer for peerless amplified response. The CT4-DX provides independent control over both pickups, each of which will then have two-band EQ and a notch filter control. You can also alter the mix levels of each of the pickups, and an onboard chromatic tuner.
