Lee Brice Snags ACM's Single Record of the Year

Newest Takamine artist Lee Brice took home the coveted 'Single Record of the Year' Award at last night's ACM Awards broadcast live from AT&T Stadium in Dallas. The song 'I Don't Dance' written for his first wedding dance with wife Sara, was an impressive follow-up to winning last year's ACM Record of the Year for 'I Drive His Truck'. Earlier in the evening, Lee paid tribute to Milestone Award honoree Randy Travis by performing 'Forever and Ever Amen' on his GB7C Garth Brooks Signature Model. Lee's connection to Garth dates back to writing Garth's 2007 hit 'More Than a Memory'. Regarding Lee's recent switch to Takamine, the tried and true road dog reports that his acoustic tone is so much better that he wishes he'd made the switch long ago. The 2015 ACM's drew an impressive 15.8 million viewers.
