Jake Allen Unveils Long Awaited Video and “Deviant Motions” Release Date
After five laborious years in the studio, Jake Allen Invites his fans to dive into "Deviant Motions" his new full length record which drops June 29th. Of the album’s fourteen tracks, one of them, “If You Fall Apart”, is finally seeing the light of day this afternoon, and if this song and its amazing video are any indication…it will have been well worth the wait.
Ticket Vendor and music publication site AXS.com is currently debuting the stunningly cinematic video as well as an interview with Jake. Both video and interview can be seen here. Additionally, fans who pre-order the full "Deviant Motions" album will receive the track, "If You Fall Apart" immediately.
Jake, a dedicated Takamine player, currently employs a Thermal Top CP7MO-TT and a well-played TNV460SC as his two primary acoustics, both of which Jake demonstrates as equally proficient in the studio as on stage.
A number of lucky folks have seen Jake at recent Takamine clinics in California as well as his home state of Michigan. Jake’s playing style, which incorporates tapping, percussive effects, an interesting use of harmonics, looping and effects processing is an inspiration to any guitarist looking to break out of a rut.
